Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour delivered a massive surprise in Paris. To close out the international portion of her tour, she brought a very special guest onstage: her husband, Jay-Z. The unexpected appearance electrified the entire stadium. Specifically, the rapper and music mogul thrilled the Stade de France crowd on Sunday night. In a move unique to this tour stop, the superstar couple performed their iconic duets together. Consequently, fans were treated to electrifying renditions of “Crazy In Love” and “Drunk In Love.” Jay-Z also ignited the audience by performing his own hit single, “N***as in Paris,” a fitting choice for the city.

Indeed, the Cowboy Carter and the Rodeo Chitlin’ Circuit Tour has consistently been a family affair. For instance, the couple’s daughters have become key parts of the show, with both Blue Ivy, 13, and Rumi, 8, joining their famous mom onstage for routines in each city. This regular inclusion of their children, in addition to their son Sir who is Rumi’s twin, has provided a personal touch to the global spectacle. Beyond her own family, Beyoncé has welcomed other stars throughout the tour. Just last week, for example, Miley Cyrus appeared in concert to perform their Grammy-winning duet “II Most Wanted.” Furthermore, Beyoncé added other familiar hits to her Paris setlist, including the fan-favorite single “Partition.”

The tour, which kicked off on April 28 at SoFI Stadium in California, is now set to return to North America. Following its successful international run, the tour is scheduled to conclude on July 26 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
